I would like to know birds that could be spotted in punggol lor halus and in coney island. The checklist is awesome. Is it possible to put locations of possibilities where these birds can be spotted ?

Unfortunately there were n tagging program for the areas you mentioned. The bird lists for these areas were complied based on historical records from various sources and reported sightings over the years.

Alan I will be Singapore for a week and looking for a private birding guide for the day on either December 5 or 6. I am prepared to pay for their time.
Can you please suggest some one that may be available

If not too much trouble, I would really appreciate having a list of updates and changes from the previous bird list (which I think was 2015). Why not a write up in Nature News? Good to see western barn owl has been corrected to eastern barn owl. Any other changes?

Hi Alan. I just checked the 2017 list again. Glad to see that eastern barn owl has been updated, but tyto delicatula is wrong. It should be tyto javanica according to IOC v8.1.

Hi, will be in Singapore on 24/11/18 and looking forward to spending time there for a week. Not sure what it would cost but are there any plans to make the app available for i pads? The i phone is always a bother to read for my eyes. Cheers

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here could help identify the species of the bird through their highly unusual mating call (or dawn chorus)? I live just opposite Dakota MRT station overlooking Old Airport Road and have recorded two sound clips of this bird (I have not had sight of it).
